The inaugural Outdoor Adventure & Recreation (OAR) Festival will be held at the Bayview Community Center on Bayou Texar, a tributary of the Pensacola Bay System.
We hope to attract both veteran paddlers and those interested in trying the sport for the first time with kayak and paddleboard demonstrations, a paddling race, and equipment vendors.
Additional activities include skateboarding, biking, and hiking demonstrations, booths from environmental organizations, and educational activities. Food trucks will be available from local restaurants and all COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
