Apalachicola Riverkeepers and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve’s Coastal Training Program will be hosting a 4-5 mile round trip paddle on Whiskey George Creek. The protected waters of salt marsh and a slow moving creek make this an excellent event for beginner and intermediate paddlers. Attendees will need to bring their own equipment including kayaks, life jackets, drinking water, as well as any sun protection they may need. This will be a great opportunity to see a variety of habitat from a different vantage and learn about how these sloughs and tributaries contribute to our local ecosystem.
