The plan is to meet at the Cumbest Bluff launch ramp located at 2500 Dogwood Ln. Moss Point, Ms. 39562, at 12:00 on Sunday, 11/06. We will paddle to Caswell Lake and check out the huge cypress swamp. The round-trip distance will be about 6 miles. We will include a rest stop along the way. This time of year is perfect for checking out the copper colored cypress needles so bring your camera/phone.
This will be a leisurely cruise in protected waters. Six miles is a moderate distance, but it will not be a strenuous trip.
