Summer time is here and the heat is on. Great time for a late afternoon/evening paddle. Let’s get on the water.
We’ll meet at Hemlock Launch (formerly Choctaw Marina, or McInnis Boat Launch), in Moss Point at 6:00 PM, on Friday, June 2. The address is 3301 Hemlock Ave. Moss Point, Ms. 29562. We’ll paddle 3 miles through marsh bayous with a dinner stop at Brady’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant in Pascagoula. The food is great, and the menu has a wide variety to choose from. The paddle back will be 2 miles under a full moon. We should be back at the launch around 10:00.
This will be a leisurely trip and is suitable to newcomers.
